HOW TO DO A CLASSICAL BUN
Here's a guide for creating a perfect bun for your dancer
What You'll Need:-
-
Bobbles in the same color as your child's hair -
-
Kirby grips or bobby pins
-
Doughnut ring (optional, same color as hair) -
-
Fine hair nets matching hair color
-
Gel or hairspray
-
White ribbon decoration (available from Miss Dena for £1, email to arrange)
Instructions:
1. Start by brushing the hair into a sleek ponytail, ensuring it's positioned centrally opposite both ears.
2.Option 1:** Twist the hair around the ponytail, securing it with Kirby grips or bobby pins at regular intervals.
3. **Option 2:** If using a doughnut ring, pull the ponytail through it, wrap the hair around the doughnut, and secure with grips, making sure the doughnut is hidden.
4. Finish with a touch of gel or hairspray, and tie a white ribbon around the bun for a lovely finish.

Practise this a few times and send your dancer to class with hair as exam. I can then check its ready for the exam. Enjoy styling!
