OUR TEAM
Our mission at Dena Smith School of Dance is to provide students of all levels with more than just dance classes, but a unique experience in which the student can grow both mentally and physically as a dancer. Our highly trained and certified teachers have a wealth of experience in teaching and performing various styles and disciplines.
MISS DENA
Miss Dena has always loved dancing ever since starting at the age of two and a half with the Wendy Sharpe and Sharon Potter School of Dance.
​
Miss Dena has her Fellowship Ballet, Fellowship Tap, Fellowship Modern, Associate Freestyle and Associate Stage Branch Tap, Certification in Contemporary, Gymnastics Dance, Musical Theatre and Early Movers with the N.A.T.D.
Miss Dena was made an examiner in 2016 for the N.A.T.D. and is a member of the gymnastics dance and national tap committee.

Miss Dena teaches all levels in Corby & Brigstock.
MISS CHANTELLE
Miss Chantelle also trained with the Wendy Sharpe and Sharon Potter School of Dance.
​
Miss Chantelle has her Associate Ballet & National Tap, certification in Early Movers and Musical Theatre.
​
Miss Chantelle teaches the lower school modern, graded tap classes and adult tap.
​
Miss Chantelle continues to study in the school towards her next associate and major examinations.
MISS IZZY
Miss Izzy - Head girl, of DSSD has trained with Wendy Sharpe & Sharon Potter and continues to train with DSSD.
​
Miss Izzy has gained her Associate Gymnastics Dance & certified in Contemporary.
​
Miss Izzy teaches Gymnastics Dance, Grade 1 Modern and provides cover for classes when required.
​
Izzy continues to study in the school and is working towards her level 4.
Our Corby & Brigstock Student Assistants are an integral part of the school providing extra support for the younger pupils. They are all members of the senior classes.
